Forging a new path

Mindsmith Coaching is centered around helping clients problem-solve their current obstacles and foster personal growth.  The goal is to create customized strategies for clients to help them overcome their unique challenges.

My approach focuses on reflection, creative thinking, and encouragement to create the space to look at a situation without being derailed by judgment or shame.  Meaningful life change is very difficult to do alone so having a co-pilot allows you to uncover blind spots and cover more ground. Armed with clarity and new insights, I know you can take steps towards building more meaning and purpose in life.

What is ADHD Coaching?

As a Certified Life Coach, I help you tackle the challenges standing in the way of your goals. ADHD coaching is about working together to uncover strategies that truly fit your life. With specialized training and firsthand experience as someone with ADHD, I bring both empathy and expertise. This means less frustration, fewer misunderstandings, and more time focused on solutions that work for you.

ADHD isn’t a problem of knowing what to do—it’s a struggle with doing what you know. That’s where coaching can make all the difference. My role isn’t to tell you what to do but to guide you in uncovering what’s blocking you and finding ways to move forward. Together, we’ll craft creative, personalized solutions that play to your strengths and help you thrive.

The way I see coaching is like being a smith in a workshop: you’re crafting something meaningful for yourself. My role is to help you identify what you want to build and gather the tools you need to make it happen. Life can overwhelm us with “shoulds” and make it hard to see our own path. In my coaching, you’re in charge—because at the end of the day, the success is yours to own.

Coaching Specialties

Here are some specific areas beyond overall ADHD support that I’ve successfully worked with clients on. This isn’t exhaustive—ADHD coaching can touch on nearly every aspect of life!

Executive Function and Daily Life

Managing the practical challenges of ADHD—time management, organization, and getting started on tasks—can feel overwhelming. I work with clients to build systems so daily life becomes more manageable and less stressful.

Motivation and Purpose

Why even do it in the first place?  It’s hard to stay motivated when tasks feel overwhelming or disconnected from what matters most. Together, we uncover what drives you and build systems to help you follow through without burnout.

Perfectionism and Self-Doubt

Both are common with ADHD and create a cycle of overthinking and frustration. I work with clients to shift their mindset, embrace growth over perfection, and rediscover confidence in their decisions.

Emotion Regulation and Coping Skills

Managing emotions like frustration, overwhelm, and rejection sensitivity can feel like an uphill battle. I work with clients to develop strategies for responding thoughtfully, rather than reacting impulsively.

Life Transitions

Major transitions—whether in school, career, or personal life—can bring a mix of excitement and overwhelm. I help clients clarify their priorities, manage change, and create a path that aligns with their goals and values.

Relationships and Communication

Social dynamics can be tricky, especially with ADHD. Whether it’s improving communication, navigating conflict, or building stronger connections, I help clients work toward relationships that feel authentic and fulfilling.

2E and Giftedness

For those with both exceptional strengths and unique challenges, it doesn't always feel like a gift. I support clients in navigating their potential while addressing areas like perfectionism, impostor syndrome, or feeling misunderstood.

Parenting and Family Dynamics

Parenting with ADHD or raising an ADHD child can feel chaotic. I work with parents to foster understanding, set realistic expectations, and create systems that support the whole family.

Gaming and Screentime

Gaming and technology aren’t the enemy—but when they take over, it can be hard to feel in control. I work with clients to build healthy boundaries with screens while honoring their positive aspects, like creativity and connection.

What They Say

There are so many reasons why Bradley has been a phenomenal coach, but these are my top three: he listens with true curiosity, he asks exactly the right questions, and he somehow exudes both joyous excitement and problem-solving calm at the same time. His ability to strike the perfect balance between letting me come to my own conclusions and offering collaborative input at the right moment has been a model for me in my own teaching and mentoring.
